Khador Kodiak.

I painted one about 5 years ago, when I had first started Warmachine. I hadn't ever picked up an airbrush at at point and it was a used model that looked like someone had put together with some sort of two part epoxy.

Here is what it looked like when I was finished with it. At the time I hadn't figured out highlights, shading etc. It was all base coat, heavy wash, varnish and done.

Let's fast forward to today. I picked up another Kodiak as I really like the model and wanted to try again. Some people like to strip and repaint models. Personally I like to keep them as a reminder of how far (or sometimes not) I have come with my painting.

Here is the Kodiak I have been working on this week. The paint job is done. I have to work on a base for it and I think I am going to enter it into the P3 competition at Warmachine Weekend this year. Now I just have to learn and execute a display base worthy of the model.
